Barcelona Wedding | Colleen & Karl

It’s always a thrill for me to be invited out to cover a destination wedding. Last week I had the pleasure of flying from Belfast to Barcelona with my clients for their wedding in the beautiful village of Alella and reception at Masia Mas Coll. I’d like to thank Seamus and Silvia from Catalan Weddings for their help on the day – it was a real pleasure working with them. This wedding was full of such an electric atmosphere. At the end of the night Karl confessed to me that this had been the greatest day of his life and I have to admit, there are moments from this wedding that will stay with me for a long time.
Hi Dylan, Unfortunately I am back at work today. On the plus side I have seen all the amazing photos. Wow, they are fantastic, you did a wonderful job and we are so so pleased with them. You captured everything for us. Everyone has mentioned about how amazing the pictures are and how incredible the photography is, indeed we absolutely agree. You were excellent Dylan and the photos really show the quality and imagination of your work. Thanks!!! |

I hope little Callum (aged six!) gets over the shock of dropping the rings!!

Carlingford and Darver Castle Wedding | Claire and Oliver
Monday, April 19 2010 | in For Brides, Wedding Photographs

I had the pleasure of being in Carlingford again on Saturday – this time to photograph Claire and Oliver’s wedding. My day began at the beautiful Ghan House with the ceremony at the historic Carlingford Heritage Centre before heading down to Darver Castle for the wedding celebration in Readypenny. Like many of you, I’ve been keeping a close eye on events in Iceland and have been hoping for the best. I’m happy to say that most of Claire and Oliver’s friends and family from England managed to make it across safely. Coaches and ferries to the rescue! The humanist ceremony offered everyone the opportunity to tie a ceremonial ribbon over the bride and grooms hands and it was just great to see such love and happiness with friends and family looking on. Here are some of my favourites as I continue the editing. |

Baby Corrina at four months
Friday, April 16 2010 | in Personal

I have to say I’m enjoying every minute of being a Dad. Needless to say Corrina is getting v used to the camera! :)
In addition to her lovely long eyelashes she’s developed quite a thick set of long blonde hair on the top of her head – so we’ve nicknamed her La Blondinette :) Last week she spent almost a whole day under observation at A&E in Antrim Hospital. Then this week she’s had a sticky eye – which has taken a few days to clear! She’s always in good spirits though and always gives us a laugh. Her best friend is ‘Upsy Daisy’ – erstwhile face mitt now employed in the telling of stories and giving of tickles! Here’s a few of our favourite recent photographs. |

Paphos Cyprus Wedding | Johanne and David

Last week I had the pleasure of flying out from London to Cyprus with Johanne and David’s family for their wedding in Paphos. It’s always a pleasure to be invited out to a destination wedding and this one was just beautiful.
Johanne and David’s wedding was located 300m above sea level at the fabulous Zucchini Weddings venue overlooking the Paphos coastline. I’d like to thank everyone for the lovely welcome – it was great to share a few days with you all and I hope to see you all again in the future. Here are just a few of my many favourite images. |
